I rarely write reviews, but I truly cannot say enough good things about my experience with this dealership—and especially working with Steve. From start to finish, I genuinely felt cared for. They stayed well past closing to make sure everything was completed so I could take my new car home that night, never once rushing me or making me feel like an inconvenience, even though it was getting late. Since I didn’t expect to come home with a new car that evening, I had to move car seats, strollers, and a ton of other items out of the car I traded in. It was overwhelming, especially since it was late and I hated keeping them past closing, but Steve was unbelievably patient, kind, and understanding the entire time. I had been car shopping for over a month and dealt with multiple dealers and salespeople—you can just tell when someone is genuine, and Steve truly was. He’s a down-to-earth guy, and it’s rare to find that in this industry. His compassion, professionalism, and willingness to go above and beyond meant more to me than he probably realizes. I was hours from purchasing from a dealer in my home state (VA) and decided to call about a truck Akins had on their site. I randomly got to speak to Moe Moreno when I called and it worked out great for me! Moe is friendly, informative, and willing to work with folks enough for me to drive 5 hours over buying locally. He held to the tentative offer we discussed over the phone (on trade in), and had everything he could complete and in hand to expedite the process when I got there. Much lower “add on” costs than several local dealers I tried to buy from and the positive experience working with Moe and the Akins team left me happy with my choice.
